Is everything made to fit dachshunds? Do you have products that fit other breeds? At this time, all of our apparel is specifically designed to fit dachshunds. However, our clothing can also accommodate some similarly shaped breeds, such as Corgis.
We've had success fitting Doodles, a variety of mixes, and Spaniels who found a great fit in our designs as well.

Can a harness be worn with all jackets?
The Okanagan Winter Coat and the Boucherie Raincoat have a two-way zipper. This gives the ability to adjust the opening to fit perfectly around most harnesses keeping snow and rain out.
The Dilworth Jacket has a D-ring securely attached along the back for the option of attaching a leash. As well, the neck opening is larger given the relaxed style, enabling leashes to attach to a collar easily.
The Terrace Turtleneck should easily fit underneath most harnesses.
*** If you do not want a zipper opening for a harness, simply add a note at the time of purchase. (Applies to the Okanagan Winter Coat and Boucherie Raincoats. Alternatively, a D ring can be added in place of the zip. A request MUST BE made in the notes when ordering.
Why do dachshunds need raincoats?
A raincoat not only provides a bit of warmth while keeping your pup dry, it provides a barrier on their underside from all of the dirt and water that is flicked up while walking because they are so low to the ground.

Do you offer gift cards?
Yes! We offer digital gift cards in various amounts. Gift cards are delivered by email and can be used for any Lewis and Arlo products. You can find gift cards in our main navigation menu.
Why do we love dry oilskin?
Dry oilskin is highly water resistant, offering perfect protection from wind, rain, and snow.
Despite the water resistant property, the fabric is breathable while providing insulation which keeps your pup warm during cooler months or in chilly weather.
This unique fabric is known for its durability and strength. The waxed cotton repels dirt and stains and can be easily wiped clean with a damp cloth or sponge, making it convenient for busy pet owners.
It's lightweight. Dachshunds have a unique body shape and heavy jackets can restrict their movement. Dry oilskin is lightweight ensuring that your dachshund can move freely and comfortably.
And it's stylish! Dry oilskin gracefully matures, much like a beloved leather bag.
Can I return or exchange items?
Products may be returned within 14 days from the date the order was received.
Products must be unworn with tags still attached.
Once the goods have been returned, we will reimburse your payment within 5 business days to your initial method of payment.
If you wish to exchange an item, please proceed with returning the item as noted above and create a new order.
Are all of the coats machine washable?
Due to the nature of the waxed cotton used in the Okanagan Winter Coat, we recommend using a damp cloth to wipe clean as needed. However, it can be washed on a delicate cycle. A fabric wax can be reapplied to strengthen the repellent properties after washing.
The Boucherie Raincoat can be washed on a delicate cycle. Hang to dry.
The Dilworth Jacket can be washed on a delicate cycle. Lay flat to dry.
Can I change or cancel my order
Please contact hello@lewisandarlo.com to change or cancel an order if you have not received a shipping confirmation.
If you've received an email confirming the order has shipped, please contact hello@lewisandarlo.com to initiate the return process. Unfortunately, once shipped, we are not able to cancel or return the product to us. You will need to wait for the order to be delivered and then return to us.
Where do you ship?
We currently ship within Canada only. We hope to expand shipping to the United States in the future - stay tuned!
When will I receive my order?
Please allow 3-5 days to process your order. A confirmation email will be sent once your order has shipped. Allow 7-10 business days for shipping within Canada.
Can I track my order?
Yes, a confirmation email will be sent once your order ships. It will include a link to track your order.

All orders ship from beautiful Kelowna, BC, Canada.
Do you offer pick up?
No, as cute as Lewis and Arlo are, we don't need them constantly sounding the alarm when someone is here to pick up.
We offer free local delivery to addresses in Kelowna.
